News: Introducing Mills Insurance Brokers Limited (January 2017)
About 10 years ago, Amy Mills became President of Christie Mills Insurance, the brokerage her mother (Christie) founded in 1979.
That appointment was the beginning of a succession plan that is culminating in 2017 with the folding in of Christie Mills Insurance Brokers Limited to Mills Insurance Brokers Limited a successor firm owned by Amy Millswho now becomes Chief Executive Officer.
This change officially became effective January 1, 2017. But the process continues through the year with such changes as new graphic identity, modified web and social media pages, edited email addresses and significantly, the official retirement of Christie.
What doesn't change is our ongoing commitment to a set of values in doing business with our clients that reflect Christie's and Amy's shared ethic:

We're available. Example, a Registered Broker answers your telephone call and can help you immediately.
We embrace new technology, if it creates additional value for our clients. Example e-signatures and MyMills client portal & mobile app which offer on-line access to their policy and other valuable information relevant to their coverage
Cost is not the primary concern in helping our clients protect their possessions. Sound advice is.
What also doesn't change is our staff. We will probably add people during 2017 but our clients will continue to be served by Amy, Margie, Michelle, Gord, Bill & Christie.
