Intelligent insurance advice

Founded in 1979, we are a dedicated team of experienced, knowledgeable professionals. As an independent brokerage we partner with some of Canada’s top insurance companies to provide our clients with professional, unbiased advice and choice.
Intelligent advice means recognizing that each individuals needs are unique and we need to adapt our products to serve those needs.  We need to listen to our clients. And we need to respect the environment in which they live and work.
The result we work for is effective protection and client confidence.

Prompt personal service

When you call, a fully-accredited broker answers.  We’re small enough to be nimble and quick, and big enough to command the attention of our insuring partners.

Serving our Ontario communities

We serve clients located across Ontario.  We serve our immediate neighbourhood of Leslieville, Riverdale and Riverside. And we give of our time, talent and treasury to support the good work being done by myriad community groups.  For example, we support the following organizations at the moment:

Meet the team

Amy Mills Smith, President

"In my job I'm ultimately responsible for everything we do on behalf of our clients. Therefore everything we do is double-checked before any commitment is made to advice or service. The right insurance coverage is too important to be left to chance."

As the President of the firm, Amy has succeeded her mother Christie and continues the same way of doing business. Amy has more than 20 years of industry experience, is a graduate of Mount Allison University and holds both her CAIB and CPIB insurance degrees.  She lives in Leslieville with her family and is actively involved in the local community.

Margie Mills, Broker

"No matter how much your 'stuff' is worth, it's a major blow when it's damaged or lost. We recognize that a loss is emotional as well as physical and we try to represent that sense of loss when we deal with insurers on behalf of our clients."

Margie has some 25+ years of senior level experience in insurance brokerages and has translated that experience into helping to resolve the most challenging insurance situations. She holds her CAIB designation and is currently studying for her CPIB.

Michelle Caldwell, Broker

"The most rewarding part of my job in serving people is to give them some little bit of information they might not have had before that makes their life just a little bit more secure."

Michelle holds both her CAIB and CPIB designations. A  veteran of the industry she is well known for her thoroughness and focus in dealing with insurance problems or opportunities.

Gord Young, Broker

"The thing I try to keep in mind when I handle people's insurance needs is: How would I like to be treated if I were a customer?"

Gord is a graduate in Psychology from Wilfred Laurier University and has more than 20 years of experience as an insurance broker. Gord combines an active sports and family life with a respected career in insurance service where he has specialized in problem solving involving home and auto insurance.
