We build relationships with our clients, allowing us to respond to their specific needs quickly and anticipate future needs. Some of our current relationships go back to our founding in 1979. We retain over 90% of our clients year over year.

As the President of the firm, Amy has succeeded her mother Christie and continues the same way of doing business. Amy has more than 30 years of industry experience, is a graduate of Mount Allison University and holds both her CAIB and CPIB insurance degrees. She lives in Leslieville with her family and is actively involved in the local community.

Margie has 30+ years of senior level experience in insurance brokerages and has translated that experience into helping to resolve the most challenging insurance situations. She holds her CAIB designation.

Gord is a graduate in Psychology from Wilfred Laurier University, has his CAIB designation and has more than 25 years of experience as an insurance broker. Gord combines an active sports and family life with a respected career in insurance service where he has specialized in problem solving involving personal, commercial and life insurance.

Rebecca joined the Mills Insurance team in April of 2019. She brings with her a wealth of experience and managerial and organizational expertise from other industries that contribute to her natural ability to connect with our clients. Rebecca also recently obtained her CAIB designation and is working towards her CPIB. When she’s not in the office, Rebecca is active in the community.

Austin joined the Mills team in February 2021. He comes from one of Canada’s largest insurance companies and brings 8 years of industry experience from claims to underwriting. Austin always puts the client first and take the time to ensure that insurance makes sense. Out of the office, if he’s not out enjoying Toronto’s many cycling trails, you might find Austin at the piano brushing up his technique to finally finish his examinations with the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Oscar joined the Mills Brokers team in March of 2023 and worked as an insurance agent before becoming a broker. He has lived, worked and studied in Cuba and the UK before settling in Ontario. Oscar has his RIBO License as well as a MSc Physics and Business Management and a BSc in Nuclear Physics. Oscar is also bilingual in Spanish and English. When he’s not thinking about insurance, Oscar may be found cycling and adventuring around the city.
