If your vehicle needs to be towed, have the tow truck driver take it to the Collision Reporting Centre and nowhere else. Do not respond to ‘incentives’ or ‘deals’ offered by a tow truck driver and do not sign any ‘waiver’. Tow truck drivers are not insurance experts.

If you're involved in a car accident and damages are estimated to be more than $1,000 (and most of the time they will be) then you MUST go to a Collision Reporting Centre and report the accident.
