WoodGreen works to enhance self-sufficiency, promote wellbeing, and reduce poverty through innovative solutions to critical social needs.

Why a Food Drive?

WoodGreen has seen a dramatic increase in food insecurity since the pandemic, and in recent months with inflation and other challenges. The number of clients attending WoodGreen’s food bank has more than tripled compared to pre-covid times; there are more seniors, youth, newcomers, and refugees than WoodGreen has seen in the past. Holding a food drive makes a huge impact on the community, as it helps bridge the gap, providing most needed food items and household requirements!

What to Donate?

Non-perishable items like canned – meat, fish, vegetables, fruits & foods, cookies, crackers, granola bars, cheese, pasta, pasta sauces, cereal, tea bags, instant coffee, and even a can opener would be helpful.

Cleaning supplies (Lysol, Windex, Mr. Clean), paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, dish soap, etc. are also most welcome.

Drop-Off Location and Deadline

You can drop off non-perishable food items or household cleaning supplies at the Mills Insurance Brokers office Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm.

Our office is located at 1201 Dundas St. E. Unit 201, Toronto, ON M4M 1S2.

We are accepting donations through December 15th, 2023.
